Sonar Festival Hots Up In Barcelona!!!

Sonar... Europe´s first festival of electronic music has kicked off in the midst of blistering sunshine...

An urban festival set against the background of the amazing Barcelona kicked off last night with numerous opening parties including one by the UK´s finest club night; Chibuku Shake Shake. The night saw Brendan Long and and a whole host of Chibukites see the festival in in style at Bar Lupos.

Today the much sought after UK DJ Mathew Herbert took part in the Musica Y Gastronomia which will later this evening feature a an orchestra made of entirely of vegetables...

Over the weekend The Chemical Brothers, Soulwax ,De La Soul,  M.I.A, LCD Soundsystem and loads more beat makers will grace the main stage.

The Sonar Festival continues in Barcelona city centre until Sunday June 18.
