Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has confirmed that the band will play more live dates.
In a message on Twitter, the singer also revealed that he was working on a new album with Stone Sour – his other band.
Slipknot's long-term future has been in doubt since the death of founding member and bassist Paul Gray last year, although the band have played festival dates this summer.
Taylor said: “Whole bunch of things being plotted. More solo/book tours in Europe and US, new Stone Sour album, a US Slipknot tour. Going to be busy!”
Earlier this summer, Taylor has admitted that he is ''still on the fence'' about recording a new album with the band.
Slipknot performed a career-spanning set at this year's Sonisphere festival, which also saw headline performances from The Big Four – Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and Slayer – and Biffy Clyro.
