Calvin Harris has said he is “best mates” with Chris Brown after he accused the singer of stealing one of his songs.
Last year, Harris expressed his surprise on Twitter about the similarities between his 2009 number one single 'I'm Not Alone' and Brown's 'Yeah 3x'.
"Choked on my cornflakes when I heard new Chris Brown single this morning,” he said, before revealing that he had received abuse messages from Brown's fans.
In an interview with BBC Newsbeat, Harris said he and Brown had sorted out the problem after phoned him up.
“He was gutted about the whole situation,” Harris said. “Once he heard the original he was like, 'Wow. OK,' and sorted it out. He gave me half that track."
The DJ and producer added: "He released Beautiful People and now I just love him 'cos that is a tune. We're fine. We're great. Chris Brown's like my best mate now.”
Harris was involved in another Twitter spat with Katy Perry earlier this year when he backed out of her California Dreams tour.
