Wild Beasts Remix Lady Gaga's 'You And I' - Listen

Wild Beasts have created an official remix of Lady Gaga's 'You And I' – and you can hear it on Gigwise now.

The band's unexpected re-imagining of the song will feature on a remix package for 'You And I', which is taken from the singer's latest album 'Born This Way'.

Wild Beasts' Hayden Thorpe told the Guardian that they were “compelled” to remix the song because of “the unlikeness” of the collaboration.

He added: “Gaga in many ways is the epitome of what we are not. She is the butcher to our butter knife. The essential thrill is always to keep eluding what is expected of us and what we expect of ourselves."

The remix is also being used to raise awareness of the recent PIAS warehouse fire in London.

Earlier this month, Lady Gaga unveiled the much-anticipated video for 'You And I'.
