Kiss have been added to the line-up for the Michael Jackson tribute concert, set to take place later this year.
The band will join the likes of Leona Lewis, JLS and Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson and Craig David at the 'Michael Forever Tribute Concert' on October 8 at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
Many have already protested againt Kiss performing at the event following previously made comments from bassist Gene Simmons that linked the late singer to paedophilia.
Speaking to Classic Rock Magazine, Simmons said: ''No matter what my fond memories and fond images of Michael were, with one allegation of paedophilia after another and another and another…Oh dear... The only sexual references ever made about Michael Jackson that were made by anyone, anywhere around the world, have always been made by kids, and specifically males usually 10 to 14 years of age; never females, that age or older, and never grown men.''
The gig will be organised in conjunction with Global Live Events, with all proceeds going towards US and UK charities.
