Prince dedicated a song to Amy Winehouse during his performance at the Sziget Festival in Budapest.
The singer spoke about the late star during the first of three encores at the Hungarian festival.
Ahead of playing his 1996 song 'Gold', Prince said: "Amy, this is for you”.
Winehouse had been due to perform at the festival but pulled out when her management company decided to abandon her European summer tour at the start of July.
The singer died on July 23 at the age of 27.
Winehouse was replaced at Sziget by 30 Seconds To Mars. Stay tuned to Gigwise as we come live from this year's festival in Budapest over the weekend.
