Did he leave? Was he sacked? Is that a slug or a moustache? The speculation over Frankie Poullain and the Darkness rages on – and one thing’s for sure – we haven’t heard the last of it yet.
The bandy bare-chested bassist has declared that he co-wrote the new album with Dan and Justin and that the result is staggering. Speaking to the NME he declared:
“the second album is incredible. Co-written by Justin, Dan and myself, I’m convinced it is destined to be a huge success.â€
This was followed by a statement issued by the band pointing out that the bass on the record will be played by Dan and seeing that Poullain had not actually participated in the recording of the album, no re-recording of his bass parts would be necessary.
Is it just me or is wee slimmy Frankie sounding a bit desperate?
