R Kelly is recovering in hospital after undergoing emergency throat surgery.
The singer was rushed to hospital after suffering from severe pain, where he had surgery to remove an abscess on his tonsil, reports The Guardian.
Speaking to fans before the surgery over Twitter, he said: ''I feel like my throat is coming back, 'I've been lying in bed sweating like crazy.'
Later he added: ''I WILL BE BACK!' he tweeted. 'I'd like to thank everybody for their love, concern and support.'
Meanwhile, R Kelly could be set to lose his multimillion pound mansion after missed mortgage payments from over a year.
