Patti Smith Covers Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep'

Patti Smith performed a cover of Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' at her recent show.

The singer declared Adele's track the “song of the summer” at her gig in New York last week.

As previously reported, Linkin Park also performed a cover of the song at the recent iTunes show in London.

Meanwhile, Adele returned to number one for a third time this year with '21' at the weekend.

The singer's second album has now spent 17 weeks at the top this year, and has never been lower than number two. Her debut album, '19', is also enjoying continued success climbing to number three, according to the Official Charts Company.
