Spotify has announced details of a partnership with Virgin Media which will offer customers access to its music streaming service via their TV, internet and mobile.
The deal – first muted last year – marks Spotify's first with an internet service provider (ISP).
The service will be integrated into Virgin's web and mobile platforms with the same price brackets of £4.99 and £9.99 that are already offered to Spotify's subscribers.
But Virgin customers will also be able to access the company's 13-million song library through their TV.
Andreas Liffgarden, director of business development at Spotify, said: “By teaming up with Virgin Media we’re giving millions more people across the UK the chance to enjoy all the world’s music at their fingertips, however they choose to listen to it - be that on their computer, mobile, and for the first time through their TV.”
