Ellie Goulding has revealed that she was reduced to tears by the Royal Wedding in April.
The singer performed at the reception for Prince William and Kate Middleton, but wasn't present at the ceremony.
"I watched the wedding at home and it was so beautiful, it made me cry,” she told Stylist.
“Aside from me being involved, it was the loveliest thing."
When asked how she responded when she was first asked to perform for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Goulding replied: "Surprisingly calm, and proud of myself and my band.”
Goulding's peformance was believed to have included her cover of Elton John's 'Your Song'.
