Yeasayer have confirmed that they have begun work on their new album.
In an email sent to fans, the band said they expected to enter the studio this summer to start recording the follow-up to their 2009 album 'Odd Blood'.
"We are playing three or four new songs on this tour to fine tune and fix before we head into the studio this summer," they said.
"Yes, record Number Three is in the works! Keeping it brief because it should be."
The news follows Yeasayer's performance of the song 'The Devil And The Deed' on US chat show host Conan O'Brien's Conan last night (May 23).
