KISS star Gene Simmons' daughter Sophie Tweed-Simmons was taken to hospital after being involved in a four-car pule-up in Los Angeles.
The 18-year-old was sitting in traffic when the car behind her failed to stop and collided with her vehicle, sending it crashing into the car in front of her.
Simmons' daughter was wearing a seatbelt but the car's air bag did not deploy, reports TMZ.
She was treated in hospital and has since told her Twitter followers that she is OK following the crash on Thursday (May 12).
He mother, Shannon Tweed, said: "Sophie's fine. Car's totalled. Not her fault. Frightening."
