Beach Boys star Brian Wilson has revealed that he is considering retiring from performing live.
The singer is due to play the Royal Festival Hall in London in September and said the gigs could be his last in the capital.
Asked if he had ever contemplated retirement, Wilson told the Evening Standard: "Oh God yes.
Another year, maybe.
“This could be the last time I play here. I'm going to miss it but I'm getting a little bit old for touring."
Wilson revealed that he still suffered from stage fright which plagued his career in the sixties and seventies and found touring “very hard work”.
"I'm always afraid just before I go on stage because I'm not sure how the concert's going to work,” he added.
