Former Buster frontman Charlie Simpson has launched a solo career – and posted his debut song 'Down Down Down' online.
Simpson, also a member of Fightstar, will release his debut album 'Young Pilgrim' this summer.
The first single 'Down Down Down' will be released on May 16, but you can hear it now on Gigwise below.
Simpson's album was recorded with producer Danton Supple, whose credits also include Coldplay, Doves and Kylie Minogue.
“I started writing this record back in the summer of 2010 and this past year has been an incredible journey for me,” Simpson said.
He added: “I have drawn on so many inspirations whilst making this record, many of which were records that I grew up listening to with my dad when I was a kid.”
Simpson is expected to announce details of his first solo tour shortly.
