Production Company Pulls Plug On Lil' Kim's Reality TV Show

Lil' KimRapper Lil’ Kim may be pulling the plug on her forthcoming reality TV series after the production company that filmed the show revealed that damaging footage could be broadcast.

SOHH is reporting that the production company Red Moxie is pleading with Lil’ Kim not to sell the series without official rights to the exclusive footage.

Sources have reported that the footage contains a possibly inflammatory scene where Kim's entertainment lawyer, L. Londell McMillan is negative about the prosecution and questions the leniency of Federal Judge Gerard Lynch; the judge who is due to sentence Lil’ Kim on July 24.

Lil’ Kim was recently convicted for perjury and conspiracy, a case that stemmed from a shooting out the Hot 97 radio station in 2001. She could face up to 20 years inside.

Her defence lawyer said to Lowdown yesterday: "I'm not familiar with the tapes that you're discussing. I don't have any reason to believe there are any comments that would in any way jeopardize the sentencing.”

Kim’s entertainment lawyer McMillan has said of the reality footage: "In preparation for the release of her forthcoming album and in hopes that she would be acquitted of all charges brought against her at the time, Lil' Kim had her life documented,"

"However, in light of her perjury conviction, yet acquittal of obstruction of justice, Lil' Kim is currently in a state of remorse, taking responsibility for the jury verdict and instructions by the judge. She has no interest at this time to exploit any such footage, but instead, would rather focus on finishing up the recording of her new album and spending time with her loved ones."
