Metro Riots

A South London based four piece who create such a racket it’s shocking, Metro Riots are on a mission- a mission to deliver the sleaziest, most sexed up, filthy punk blues your innocent ears will ever hear.   With Danny Fury (a name that spells trouble!) on guitar, a frontman known only as Damo and a rhythm section of muscled up music to match- Ollie Parker (drums) and Sam Ray (bass) their assault has been a well charted one of the mean streets of London. They’ve already made a name for themselves as up-and-coming on the scene, but it won’t be long before they hit the top.   Frequent visitors to Camden’s KoKo they can regularly be heard breaking hearts and tunes and when they’re not there- just do an Alice and follow the crowd of kids chanting  “Metro Riots!” like some alternative war cry.   Tunes like “Just Can’t Recover”, “Modern Romance” and “Generation Of Boys” have all been described as “sex if it were sound”; and these are just some diamonds amongst a blinding set which never fails to get people jumping, dancing, singing and screaming.
