Courtney Love Elected Conservative Rock And Roll Officer At Oxford University

Courtney Love has been elected the Conservative Association’s “non-executive officer for rock and roll” at Oxford University.

The former Hole star was presented with the accolade during a presentation event on Sunday (January 23).

A post on the political blog Order Order said Love also participated in the OUCA Port & Policy debate, during which she praised the recent Wikileaks scandal.

Guests also enjoyed an evening where “the teen spirit was port”, the blog added, which is a reference to a song by Love’s late husband and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

A photo has been released showing Love posing with some of the members of the Conservative Association at the university.

there was no 'presentation event' - she turned up to a normal meeting of the association, completely randomly, unannounced and uninvited (although more than welcome!), and proceeded to get incredibly drunk on port. she also gave an impromptu rendition of 'wonderwall' and the British national anthem. we made her "officer for rock and roll" on the spur of the moment.

that is true! and she was gracious, sweet, almost demure and very sexy! pretty even. We loved her company, she was extremely well mannered and also SMART. It was a little daunting, i dont think "incredibly drunk" is the right word, although its possible that she is a lightweight, it was i recall one glass of port!
