The good news is that Camden Town ska cuties Madness are penning a new album for us all. The bad news is that work on the disc has been rife with conflict and original Nutty boy Chris Foreman has stormed out on the fellas.
Those dear chappies who stole our hearts with bouncy tunes and ballads such as It Must Be Love have recently signed with US label V2, (who newly have post-punkers Gang Of Four under their wing) and a summer release from the original lineup of Madness is on the cards, according to Billboard.
And the so far untitled disc will boast the ska, punk and reggae toons the boys performed last summer when they toured as the Dangermen.
But original purveyor of the Heavy Heavy Monster Sound Chris Foreman has abandoned ship since work commenced, stating "the petty, time consuming bollocks that goes on in the band" drove him out once and for all.
It's obviously NOT love, in this case, then...harrumph.
