MTV is to launch a new dedicated music channel, the broadcaster has announced.
MTV Music will be available on Sky channel 350 from February 1, and will showcase “the best A-List music and talent”.
In addition to music videos, the channel will also host live performances and artist interviews.
MTVN UK & Ireland managing director David Lynn said: "MTV Music is a channel dedicated to highlighting the best music out there across all genres and styles.
“It will provide a gateway into Sky's music genre that will drive even more value into the Sky subscription."
MTV's other channels in the UK include MTV Base, MTV Dance and MTV Rocks.
