Singer and actress Zoey Deschanel is among the musicians who have paid tribute to Trish Keenan, who died last week.
The Broadcast singer died in hospital from complications with pneumonia on Friday (January 14). She was 42.
Deschanel, who performs with She & Him, said Keenan's death was “terribly sad”, adding: “A very talented woman.”
Blur guitarist Grahan Coxon also called the new “devastating” and admitted it was a “really hard to take in”.
Keenan had been battling the illness in intensive care for the past two weeks.
Unconfirmed reports have claimed the singer caught the HN51 virus, also known as Swine Flu, following a recent tour.
