Madness have been forced to postpone their gig in Sheffield tonight (December 1) due to the weather.
The band had been due to perform at the Academy, but local authorities advised that it was “impossible” for the show to go ahead. The UK is currently suffering from heavy snow.
In a statement, Madness said they hoped to announce a re-arranged date within the next seven days and advised fans to hold on to their tickets.
The band are currently touring the UK on a greatest hits jaunt, which includes songs from their 2009 album 'The Liberty Of Norton Folgate'.
The tour is due to resume at the Hull Arena on Friday (December 3). For more details, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
