Keith Richards revealed via the interview on the band's official website that recording the album was progressing well.
He said: “The record ain’t finished yet but its sounds promising, everybody’s happy."
He added the new songs “lend themselves to being recorded live.”
Mick Jagger said: “The songs are kind of relevant, hard hitting, insidious and contemporary, yet classy.”
Mick then went on to talk about new song ‘Oh No Not You Again’, describing it as “a fast rocker .... almost punk, very fast with punk sensibilities.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, the band start their world tour in America this summer before playing South America, the Far East and Europe next summer. You can hear the full interview with the band here.
