Coldplay's Chris Martin Can't Stay Away From The Tabloids

Coldplay's Chris Martin has been beating himself up for believing tabloid gossip about his fellow celebrities.

Since marrying skinny Gwyneth Paltrow Martin has been under the media spotlight and according to ContactMusic.com hates it when the papers invent stories about him and his family. He is often forced to control his anger when fans quiz him and about the crap they have read.

However, this does not stop him from reading the gossip columns and often flicks through a showbiz magazine.

He has said: "If a celebrity magazine is in an airport lounge, I'll have a look. I like gossip as much as the next man. But then, I'll bump into someone I've read about and I'll say, 'Oh, I read so-and-so...' and I curse myself, because I hate people coming up to me and going, 'Chris I read that you're macrobiotic, is that true?' And I say, 'Well, no, not really.”
