The BBC Concert Orchestra has teamed up with Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood for the first of three futuristic concerts.
Will Gregory of Goldfrapp is also part of the project, which will take place at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London on October 6.
Dubbed Electronia 1, the concert is intended to explore the evolution of electric instruments and futuristic influences on modern music.
As well as the BBC Concert Orchestra, the performance will also incorporate early electronic instruments, including theremins, Moogs and ondes martenots.
Greenwood will present his recent composition, 'smear,' while Gregory will ofer concert-goers a sneak-peak of his new opera.
The concert, presented by Jarvis Cocker, will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3’s Performance on 3 on November 19 at 7pm.
