Liam Gallagher has vowed to give up smoking to protect his singing voice, it’s been reported.
The former Oasis singer is said to be keen to change his lifestyle as he prepares to launch new band Beady Eye.
“Liam is into his fitness these days and goes running most mornings,” a source told The Sun newspaper.
“And now he has decided to quit smoking. He also wants his singing voice to be perfect for launching new band Beady Eye."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Beady Eye feature most of Oasis’ former line-up except for guitarist and Gallagher’s brother, Noel.
The band are expected to release their debut album and tour in the new year.
Earlier this year, Liam claimed the band's debut album would be the "record you’ll hear for the next 50 years".
