Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has revealed that they are working on a new live album.
The US group are recording performances on their current US tour for the as-yet-untitled album.
“We're recording a live f*cking album right now," Armstrong told fans at a gig in Denver on Saturday (August 28).
"So check it out, we're gonna play a brand-new song. ... It ain't that brand-new. This song is called 'Cigarettes and Valentines'."
Originally recorded in 2003, the 'Cigarettes and Valentines' has never been officially released.
The live album will be the follow-up to Green Day's first live LP, 'Bullet In A Bible', which was released in 2005.
The band's last studio album '21st Century Breakdown' came out in 2009.
