Lady Gaga and Iggy Pop are set to take part in two special gigs curated by Yoko Ono and her son Sean Lennon.
The We Are The Plastic Ono Band shows, at Oprheum in Los Angeles on October 1 and 2, will also feature Wilco's Nels Cline and Wu-Tang rapper RZA.
Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon and Harper Simon will also appear at the gigs, which will be directed by Lennon.
Tickets cost between $60 and $150 and are on sale now.
Meanwhile, Ono has also organised a series of events in Iceland to mark what would have been her husband John Lennon’s 70th birthday.
The celebrations will conclude with a performance by the Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band on October 9.
Lennon would have turned 70 on October 9. He was shot dead in New York in December 1980.
