U2 frontman Bono has revealed that the band are working on a “club-sounding” album
The singer told Rolling Stone that the band also had plans to release a more rock-inspired album, as well as 'Songs Of Ascent', which is linked to their 2009 LP, 'No Line On The Horizon'.
Bono and guitarist The Edge have also recorded the score for the upcoming Broadway musical adaptation of Spider-Man.
Meanwhile, Bono also spoke about his recovery from back surgery, which forced the band off the road earlier this year.
"There are a lot bigger problems out there than the ones I was facing,” he said. “But I came out of it perfect. And I feel incredibly grateful."
U2 are currently on the European leg of their 360 Degree World Tour, which is scheduled to continue into 2011.
