The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has said his decision to go solo feels “disloyal” to the band.
The singer, who previewed songs from his debut album 'Flamingo' at the Shimmer Showroom in Las Vegas on Sunday (August 15), compared it to adultery.
"I feel disloyal, it's like cheating on my wife," he told The Sun.
Tracks in Flowers' set on Sunday included new single 'Crossfire', 'On The Floor' and a cover of 'Bettie Davis Eyes' by Kim Carnes.
He also performed the album track 'Had Enough', which is a love song to his wife Tana.
'Flamingo' is due to be released on September 8 and will be preceded by 'Crossfire' on August 23.
