Boxer Rebellion To Star In New Drew Barrymore Movie Going The Distance

The Boxer Rebellion make a cameo appearance in the forthcoming movie, Going The Distance.

The band play themselves in the film as the favourite band of the lead character who is an A&R man.

The group also feature on the soundtrack to the movie, which includes songs by Cat Power, Band Of Skulls and Passion Pit.

Going The Distance stars Drew Barrymore, Christina Applegate and Justin Long, and is due to arrive in cinemas next month.

Meanwhile, The Boxer Rebellion are currently working on their new album with producer Ethan Johns. It is due out in early 2011.
