Also added to the bill are KT Tunstall and Tom Baxter, reports ananova.com.
They will join an array of stars including Franz Ferdinand, The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Tom Vek and Oasis.
The V Festival takes on Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.
