Bookermaker William Hill has Corinne Bailey Rae and Laura Marling at 7/1, Foal and Biffy Clyro at 9/1, and I Am Kloot at 11/1.
Kit Downes Trio and Villagers are this year's outsiders – both at 12/1.
The nominees were announced at a ceremony in London this morning (July 21). The winner is due to be unveiled on September 7.
