Footballer Lionel Messi has asked Jay-Z to be an ambassador for his new clothing range, it's been reported.
The Barcelona and Argentina star is looking to launch the collection of high-end clothes and accessories for men next summer.
According to The Sun, he wants to recruit a number of high profile ambassadors across the globe, including Jay-Z in New York and David Beckham in Los Angeles.
"We have spoken with Jay-Z for New York and the dream is to have David for LA,” a source said.
"If we get all the names we are trying for, we can be the most famous and best men's fashion brand in the world."
Jay-Z already owns his own clothing range, Rocawear, which boasts an annual income of around $700million.
