Lil Wayne is expected to be released from prison in November, it's been reported.
The rapper was jailed for 12 months in March after he pleaded guilty to attempted gun possession.
But prison records obtained by MTV News suggest that the rapper's projected release date in November 4 – four months early.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Lil Wayne revealed in a blog post this week that he has been writing new songs from his prison cell.
The rapper also gave fans an insight as to what his daily routine was like in jail.
