The Zutons singer Dave McCabe has denied head butting a man outside a nightclub in Liverpool.
McCabe is accused of breaking Peter Appleby's nose at Korova last February.
The 29-year-old denied a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm during an appearance at Liverpool Crown Court.
He has been released on unconditional bail and is due to go on trial on September 20, reports BBC News.
Meanwhile, The Zutons are currently said to be writing their follow-up to 2008's 'You Can Do Anything'.
