Jack White Says He Wants To Make A Movie With Tom Cruise

The Dead Weather's Jack White has revealed he would like to make a film with Tom Cruise.

White said he was frequently offered acting roles, but turned most of them down because they don't appeal to him.

However, the singer admitted he would consider a movie “that means something to me”.

When asked what role he would consider taking, the singer told XFM: “Something with Tom Cruise [where] we fly around a lot. Something that really speaks to me.”

The Dead Weather were amongst the performers at last weekend's Glastonbury festival.

Jack needs to play a roll of a preacher or sum wise man with all the answers. Listen to RAG AND BONE or Do. He has an unique way of putting things and if he can play a role like that and just be himself the academy could be calling!!
