Punk icons The Damned are exploding onto the London stage next week (Sunday May 8) at Islington's Academy, but touring is not quite the wild lunacy it once was.
And it seems that former coke-maniac Captain Sensible is more interested in the wonders of the London tube map...
He confided in Mojo, "Touring now is a much nicer experience.
"You can get up in the morning and check out the local public transport system.
"Instead of the manager kicking down the door at one o'clock in the afternoon now they have to wait for me to come back from trainspotting."
Those long winter nights must just fly by...
