Metric frontwoman Emily Haines has revealed that Twilight star Kristen Stewart is a fan of their music.
The band are one of a number of acts set to appear on the soundtrack to the latest movie in the vampire franchise, Eclipse.
Haines said she was excited to have had the chance to write the song ‘Eclipse (All Yours)’ especially for the score.
"I've always wanted to write music for a film, but I never expected to start with something on this scale,” Haines told The Sun.
"We met Kristen once and she said she likes our music. It is an honour and we are very grateful.”
She added that it was “amazing” to be on a soundtrack that also includes the likes of Muse, Florence & The Machine and Vampire Weekend.
The score to the film, which stars Stewart and Robert Pattinson, is released on June 7.
