The Futureheads guitarist Ross Millard has revealed that the band are considering writing a musical.
Millard said the group wanted to take a less conventional direction on their next album.
"We want to focus on things that aren't Futureheads, or maybe not typical Futureheads and release it on the label," he told Clash magaine.
"It won't be a traditional album next time. We've talked about doing a musical even."
Millard added: "Something a little bit more outside of the cycle of recording and releasing album.
“We want something with more of an arts element, with more of a performance element."
The Futureheads are currently promoting their new album ‘The Chaos’, which was released last month.
