In what could be one of the most incendiary rock link ups of recent years System Of A Down and The Mars Volta are set to tour North America together later this year.
No dates or venues have yet been booked but the tour is expected to begin sometime in early August reports Billboard.com. SOAD will hit the road in support of new album ‘Mesmerise’ which is due out on May 16, with a second album ‘Hypnotise’ due out sometime in the Autumn.
The Mars Volta have been enjoying critical acclaim and commercial success with recent record ‘Frances The Mute’. We will announce the tour dates as soon as we have them.
