Keane drummer Richard Hughes has reiterated his criticism of the Conservatives for using one of their songs during the general election campaign.
The song 'Everybody's Changing' was played during the party's manifesto launch in April.
Speaking on BBC Radio 4, Hughes, who said at the time that he was “horrified”, claimed that it had "implied support in a political party" and was an "abuse of privilege".
"I feel at that kind of event it would just be polite to check that the band wouldn't mind being associated with the party," he said.
Hughes added that he did not vote for the Conservative Party, who won the most votes on May 6 and have since formed a coalition Government with the Liberal Democrats.
At the time, the a spokesperson for the Tories said the now Prime Minister David Cameron was"a great fan” of the band.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Keane scored their fourth successive number one on the UK album chart on Sunday.
