Patti Smith To Headline Serpentine Sessions In London's Hyde Park

Patti Smith heads the line-up at this summer’s Serpentine Sessions in London’s Hyde Park.

The punk rock veteran is due to top the bill on the second night (June 29) of the three-day event.

Grizzly Bear will open the festival on June 28, while Laura Marling will headline on July 1.

The Serpentine Sessions are restricted to just 3000 fans each night. In 2008, the outdoor event played host to the likes of Bon Iver and Regina Spektor.

Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday ( April 23) at 9am and will be available via Gigwise Gig Tickets.
