Beastie Boys star Adam Yauch's production company Oscilloscope has secured the rights to a documentary film about the holocaust.
A Film Unfinished, which tells the story about Jewish life in the Warsaw ghetto, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
"This movie really affected me," Yauch, who is recovering from cancer, told the Hollywood Reporter.
"It's an incredibly powerful film, not just because of the rare Nazi propaganda footage it shows but also the captivating way the filmmakers tell the story."
Oscilloscope are expected to bring the Yael Hersonki-directed film to a single cinema in New York in August, before rolling it out across the US.
