King Porter Stomp have been crowned Gigwise's 2010 King Of The Mountain winners at the Snowbombing festival in Austria.
The Brighton group's modern take on Ska and Bluebeat thrilled a capacity crowed at the Racket Club venue on Monday (April 5).
They were among four finalists to take to the stage as part of Gigwise's annual competition for unsigned bands.
London five piece Bibelots, Echo Empire from Coventry and Catfish And The Bottlemen also impressed festival fans.
But Gigwise reporter Dom Gourlay said the crowd was ultimately won over by King Porter Stomp's “pure energy and on stage dynamicism”.
As Kings Of The Mountain, the group will now perform again at the festival on Friday (April 9).
