30 Seconds To Mars: 'We Sacrifice Tofu, Not Goats, Before Gigs'

30 Seconds To Mars singer Jared Leto has joked that the band sacrifice tofu before their gigs as they've all gone vegan.

The Hollywood actor turned rocker was speaking to Myspace Music about their pre-gig nuptials when he made the quip.

“Well there was a time when we used to sacrifice goats but then we all became vegans so we’ve been sacrificing tofu before the shows!,” he joked.

Leto also revealed that the band take mud baths to alleviate the stresses and strains of touring.

He said: “Shannon (Leto) introduced us to the pleasures of a mud bath. He carries the mud with him from a very special site in Mexico, which is heavy….”
