Phil Spector's wife has said she plans to release an album this summer that was recorded before the music producer was jailed for murder. Music's messiest mugshots:
Rachelle Short, a former Playboy model, said she sings lead vocals on the project, which the pair worked on together.
"My husband is so proud of me, and I'm so proud of him for withstanding what he's withstanding,” she told the New York Daily News.
The as-yet-untitled album is due to be released on June 8, Short said.
Spector was found guilty at a re-trial last year of murdering the b-movie actress Lana Clarkson in 2003.
Earlier this week, reports claimed that the music producer had been attacked in jail by an inmate.
