After signing to Universal Island in 2002, punk pop trio Busted released two albums, and gained a ridiculously huge following of adoring, screaming girls in the process.  With UK hit singles such as ‘Crash And Burn’, ‘Air Hostess’, ‘Crash The Wedding’, and not to forget that all-time classic ‘What I go To School For’, Busted decided they were good enough to crack the USA with their ‘all-American’ sound.  They were wrong.  Things didn’t work out as well as they’d hoped, and lead singer Charlie Simpson, bored of being a clean-cut teen heart-throb, decided to leave the Busted boys in 2004 to pursue a career in ‘serious’ rock with his new band Fightstar.  Thus, Busted are no more.  It’s very sad.  No really, it is.
