Ben Folds paid tribute to the recent the Chatroulette video viral at a gig in North Carolina at the weekend.
The video, which swept the internet last week, showed a piano player improvising songs for complete strangers on the popular webcam-based chatroom.
The player's hooded appearance led to speculation that it was Folds in the video.
But at a gig in Charlotte on Friday (March 19), the singer put the rumours to rest by performing his own tribute to “piano improv guy” in front of a live audience.
Dressed in a hoodie, Folds played a series of songs to complete strangers, including on man sitting on the toilet.
