A previously unheard recording of a Led Zeppelin concert has been unearthed by a fan in Ipswich.
Vic Kemp discovered the double-CD recording of the band's 1971 gig at St Matthews Baths Hall at a car boot sale.
Mr Kemp, who paid £3 for the rarity, said he had “no idea” whether there were any other copies of the recording.
“I was going through a stand of CDs at the car boot at Portman Road and the guy who was selling them said 'you might be interested in this',” he told the Evening Star.
“It doesn't have a proper cover and the title is just written in felt-tip pen.
“I think the date of the concert is wrong, as it says 1972, but the recording is not too bad at all. It's on a double CD."
Mr Kemp added: “It must have been recorded by someone standing at the front with a microphone. You can hear (singer) Robert Plant talking to the audience quite clearly.”
It is thought that the CD is taken from original source tapes of the concert, which were bootlegged several years ago.
Interest in Led Zeppelin has risen again in recent years following the band's one-off reunion concert in London in 2007.
